This summer the American Academy's six week mini intensive will be held the weeks of June 25th, July 2nd, July 16th, July 23rd, and July 30th. The mini intensive is always a wonderful success and the students who take it love it and improve so much. It is like a camp – except that they dance all day. Classes begin at 9:00 in the morning and end at 12:30. There is a daily ballet class and in addition there are modern, Pilates, pointe, stretch, lyrical, hip hop and choreography classes. Students in the following levels are eligible and students will be divided appropriate levels: Ballet C, IV, V, D, EI, EII, F, Intermediate I and II and Advanced.

The evening mini intensive (5:00 – 8:00) is for Intermediate II and Advanced students only.

The faculty includes: Ms. Maris (first two weeks only), Ms. Donatella, Ms. Patty, Ms. Rachael, Ms. Janice, Mr. Gary, and Jon Lehrer. (Additional faculty will be announced at a later date.) The cost is $600.00 for 6 weeks or $125.00 a week.

Naturally, it would be best for your child if they attended as many weeks as their schedule allows. (A minimum of two weeks is required.) The students who attended four or more weeks last summer made the most progress. Please fill out the form and return it to the studio with a $25.00 deposit which will be deducted from your balance. It is like going away to study – with the same quality of training except much less expensive!!
