June 3 - 8: "Building A Rainbow" for Maddie week

Madison Dwyer is a student at the American Academy and the Karyn Kelly dance studio. Maddie has a passion for dance and her beautiful smile lights up the classroom, the stage and wherever she may be.

Maddie has Cystic Fibrosis and every day she has to get up early and put on a vest to help clear her lungs so she can get through the day. Three years ago we started the "Building A Rainbow" for Maddie project and here is how it works.

Starting this Monday, June 3rd through Saturday, June 8th, your child may wear any colored tutu or costume to class (as long as she/he can still dance in it). We will have racks of costumes at AAB also. For this special privilege they have to pay their teacher $5.00 per class or if they take 4 or more classes a week, it will be $20.00. Checks should be made payable to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. We know that that there will be a cure in the near future and that Maddie and others with her condition can live long, fulfilled lives. We can all help make it happen.

If every family at AAB just donated just $5.00 we would raise well over $2,000.00. But our goal is higher and we want to beat last years' total which was over $2,000.00. So please be as generous as possible for our dear Maddie and everyone afflicted with Cystic Fibrosis. I know we can do this! Thank you and bless you all! Maris
